Lil’Swanky was founded in early 2008 by mother, wife, and shopper Emily Hornstein-Quagliani. Emily is no stranger to the children’s market, and after having her own daughter, she recognized the need for a premium children’s apparel site which offers the hottest brands as well as emerging collections.

While Emily was trying to figure out her next corporate move, she stumbled across the idea to start her own website which would meet the needs of so many online shoppers. In order to make Lil’Swanky successful, Emily needed to immerse herself in the industry even further, and started walking trade shows, meeting with showrooms and talking to fellow mommy friends.

Emily picked a fun and diverse collection of clothing to start, and since then Lil’Swanky has become the newest shopping spot for premium children’s apparel.

HOW CAN I PLACE ORDERS?

Lil’ Swanky is solely an online market retailer. Orders are easily placed online but if you request a personal touch please feel free to call our customer service line. We are happy to provide any information you may need. You may also place your order via phone as well. We do not accept fax or mail-in orders.

WHAT FORMS OF PAYMENT DO YOU ACCEPT?

Lil’ Swanky accepts Visa, Master Card, Discover, and American Express. We do not accept COD, money orders, or personal checks.

IS THERE SALES TAX ON MY ORDER?

Sales tax is only added onto accessory purchases, such as belts and bracelets. Clothing items will not have sales tax added on. NJ sales tax is 7%.

DO YOU OFFER GIFT CARDS?

Lil’ Swanky does offer gift cards in $25 increments. You will be able to print out your gift card or have an email generated to send to your loved one.

WHAT SHIPPING METHODS DO YOU USE?

Lil’ Swanky uses Fedex for our shipping needs. Customers may choose from Fedex Ground (2-7 business days), Second Day (2-3 days), and Standard Overnight delivery (1-2 days). PLEASE NOTE all orders are shipped with direct signature required unless told otherwise.

DO YOU SHIP TO ALASKA, HAWAII, AND PUERTO RICO?

Yes we will happily ship to these destinations. Please note shipping rates and delivery times are slightly longer than the continental United States.

DO YOU SHIP INTERNATIONALLY?

We ship to a majority of countries that Fedex will deliver to. You have the option of choosing Fed Ex Priority International (approximately 3 business days), or Fedex Economy International (approximately 7 business days). Shipments to Mexico will only go Fedex Priority International. All Rates will be shown during check out process. Please be reminded that all shipping rates are plus import duties, customs fees, and/or taxes imposed by your home country. Lilswanky.com has no control over these charges and can’t estimate their value. We Do NOT receive any portion of these charges.

Orders will be shipped once your credit card has been approved for all charges and billing address has been verified. All shipments must be delivered to your credit card billing address only. All shipments are the responsibility of the customer once package(s) enter the Fedex system. This means the customer bares all risk of loss or damage to the product during the shipping process. Lilswanky.com must state the exact value of all shipments and list all items on customs forms for all international orders. If items are refused or returned, the customer is responsible for all outgoing and incoming shipping rates, duties, taxes, and fees charged to lilswanky.com. These charges will be deducted from any merchandise refunds. We do a thorough review of shipping contents for quality and accuracy for all orders. If by chance we ship the incorrect product lilswanky.com will correct the discrepancy at no cost to the customer. All orders will be shipping within twenty four (24) hours of order receipt. An order confirmation email will be sent to you with all tracking information as soon as it leaves our facility.

DO YOU SHIP TO MILITARY BASES?

Unfortunately at this time we can not ship to military bases.

HOW OFTEN DO YOU UPDATE ONLINE INVENTORY INFORMATION?

We update our online inventory every twenty four (24) hours. If an order is placed and an item is out of stock (due to that day’s demand) we will contact you via email and/or phone. We apologize ahead of time for any inconvenience.

WHEN WILL MY ORDER SHIP?

Most orders are shipped within twenty four (24) hours of order receipt, as long as all billing and address information is valid and complete. The only delay may be during extreme whether conditions.

HOW DO I TRACK MY ORDER?

Once your order is picked, wrapped, and ready to ship you will receive an email providing tracking information. Save this email and it will direct you to Fedex.com where you may follow your order to the door step.

WHEN WILL MY CREDIT CARD BE CHARGED?

Credit cards will be charged when you receive your order shipping information via email.

BASIC RETURN POLICY

Purchases may be returned within 15 days of the order delivery date. All returned items must be unused, unwashed, in original condition and packaging, (excluding gift packaging), for a complete refund, (excluding shipping charges). Please see below section for sale and gift orders.

Please complete the Return Merchandise Form included with your shipment and be sure to indicate the email address where you would like refund information sent in the "Your email Address" field. Without your email address we cannot process your refund.

Purchase transactions become final 15days after date of delivery.

No returns will be accepted at Lil’ Swanky beyond the return policy of fifteen (15) days. Please be sure to account for shipping time when sending return.

Exceptions to this policy will be at the sole discretion of Lil’ Swanky and you will be issued a store credit at the current selling price minus a 10% restocking fee.

SALE ITEM AND GIFT RETURN POLICY

Sale (discount) item purchases are final.

Gift items are subject to the “Basic Return Policy” as stated above but store credit will be issued to the gift recipient. There are no refunds on gift purchases unless it is to the original purchaser’s credit card. Sale item rules apply to gift purchases as well. Any gift item that was on sale will only be eligible for a store credit.

STORE CREDIT

Lil’ Swanky store credit may be used to purchase anything on our web site. Store credit information will be sent via email only -- please be sure that customerservice@lilswanky.com is in the allowed senders list of your email program.

EXCHANGES

We can not guarantee product availability for exchanges and we do not put items on hold. The safest practice is to enter a new order for the items you would like, and send in the original items for store credit toward your new purchase.

The fifteen (15) day return policy holds true for returns as well.

New shipping charges will be incurred for your new order.

WHAT DO I INCLUDE WITH MY RETURN?

Please complete the Merchandise Return Form included with your shipment and return it, along with the merchandise, to the address on the form. Without the information requested on the form we cannot process your return or exchange.

SHIPPING YOUR RETURN

Please use the return shipping label that your original order came with.

Your credit card will be charged any shipping fees related to your return.

WHEN WILL MY RETURN BE PROCESSED?

Returns and/or exchanges are processed within 10 days of the date we receive the item(s). A credit or shipment notification email will be sent to the email address on file at the time the credit or exchange is processed.

WHEN WILL MY CREDIT CARD BE REFUNDED?

Credit cards are refunded within ten (10) days of receipt of goods at Lil’ Swanky.

HOW DO I REDEEM A STORE CREDIT?

Store credit may be redeemed once your product return process has been completed and we have issued you store credit.

When placing an order with store credit information follow the instructions in the store credit email that you receive. You will be asked for credit card information at checkout, however your credit card will not be charged at that time. Store credit orders are processed manually, and the store credit amount will NOT be reflected in your card total at checkout. If your purchase is less than or equal to the store credit on file your credit card will not be charged. If your purchase amount exceeds the store credit on file your credit card will be charged only for the difference.

HOW LONG IS STORE CREDIT GOOD FOR?

We will accept store credit for one (1) year from date credit was issued.

ORDERS WITH MISSING, INCORRECT, OR DAMAGED GOODS

If your order is delivered with items that are missing, incorrect, or damaged, please contact us immediately and we will remedy the issue in a timely fashion and at no cost to you. This is a rarity but we apologize ahead of time if an error occurs.

Lil’ Swanky will cover all excess shipping charges caused by any of these issues.

DO YOU DO SPECIAL ORDERS, BACK ORDERS, PRE-ORDERS?

At this time we do not provide any of the above services. They tend to lead to problems and frustrations. We want your shopping experience to be simple and worry free.

DO YOU OFFER GIFT WRAPPING?

We consider all our customers’ orders gifts. Every order is hand wrapped in a white two-piece box with tissue and either a pink or blue ribbon. Personalized gift cards are also provided upon request. Just let us know what your message is at check out.
